Lois Engle

Mrs. Lois Engle holds a degree in Elementary Education from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN.  She has 31 years of experience teaching - 20 years in the classroom and 11 years homeschooling her 5 children.  She is currently in her fifth year of teaching first grade at SABCS.  Outside of school Mrs. Engle enjoys her grandchildren, reading, sewing, and time spent in the mountains.

Cara Leverette

Cara Leverette attended Clemson University and received her B.A. degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood (K-4). She holds a Master’s of Arts in Teaching in Early Childhood Education. This is Mrs. Leverette's 17th year of teaching, and her 12th here at South Aiken Baptist Christian School.

Mrs. Leverette loves spending time with her husband, and her two boys.  When Mrs. Leverette is not teaching, she loves to paint for herself and her friends and family.

Dawn Simmons

Mrs. Dawn Simmons holds a BA in Early Childhood Education from USC-Aiken. She has been teaching in the classroom and homeschool for 26 years, 20 of those at SABCS. She currently teaches third grade. Mrs. Simmons has a husband Bob, and three sons. She enjoys reading, kayaking, riding bicycles and spending time with family.

Christy Duren

Mrs. Christy Duren holds a B.A. in Teaching from Columbia International University and a M. Ed. in Elementary Education from USC Aiken. She has been teaching 9 years, all at SABCS, and currently teaches 4th grade. Mrs. Duren is married. She enjoys spending time with family and friends located around the country, traveling, reading, and photography.
